WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Want to learn a craft that's relaxing, super easy, mindless, and fun? Want a grown-up reason to play with stickers? Then you've got to try making sticker mandalas!
A mandala is a classic type of artwork that involves repeating, symmetrical images in a circular shape. In this workshop, we'll use stickers to create bright and colorful mandalas that are insanely cute!
You'll make an 11" x 14" mandala that is perfect for framing and hanging on a wall. Viewed from a distance, a sticker mandala looks like an interesting abstract piece of art, but viewed up-close it's a whimsical, humorous piece featuring all kinds of fun sticker images from hot dogs to pirates!
Once you learn to make sticker mandalas, you can easily make more on your own -- they're great for everything from wall decor to greeting cards, and more!
In this workshop, you'll learn:
- How to draw a circular grid in pencil to begin your mandala
- The best type of stickers to use to create a mandala
- How to place the stickers and build symmetrical, mirror image sections in your piece
- Tips and tricks for great results!
- Leave with a finished piece, ready to hang or display
Class fee includes all necessary stickers, paper, and tools to create an 11" x 17" mandala.
